Our firm has settled over 1,000 transactions during this period, including title services for Montgomery County, Maryland, and many prominent local banks. We have also settled every major builder in the Washington D.C. area including unimproved parcels, construction loans, and cooperative housing. Mr. Shapiro is highly skilled in performing due diligence investigations for prospective loans on behalf of lenders.

​​Mitchell J. Shapiro, Esq.
Mitchell Shapiro earned his J.D. Degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1984, after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in 1980. Mr. Shapiro worked in the public defender's office as a docket and contract attorney, where he honed his criminal defense and litigation skills. Since 1984, Mr. Shapiro has been a partner and owner of SHAPIRO & SHAPIRO, P.C., a full service law practice. Mr. Shapiro is active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association. He joined the District of Columbia bar in 1986, and the Federal bar in 1988. Mr. Shapiro treats every client with respect and integrity.
Elaine S. Silvious, Esq.
Elaine Silvious earned her J.D. Degree from the University Of Baltimore School Of Law in 2010, after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts from McDaniel College in 2007 and her Associates of Arts from Frederick Community College, in paralegal studies in 2005. Ms. Silvious has been a member of the Maryland State Bar since 2014. Ms. Silvious previously served as a paralegal in the office of Frank J. Federico, II, P.A. where she gained expertise in personal injury and custody matters. Ms. Silvious frequently freelances for various other law firms providing support to their legal teams. In her spare time she teaches Sunday school at her church.
